Our new offer of preparatory courses for primary school pupils and courses for the public has been very popular. 

Here are a few photos from the ongoing course CZECH FOR FOREIGNERS. This course for the public started on Tuesday 25.10.2022. In the first class students learned mostly basic communication phrases, introductions, greetings etc. The course will run 3 times a week in teaching blocks (4 x 45 minutes). 

The aim of the Czech for Foreigners course is to equip participants with the knowledge of the Czech language necessary for communication at work or study in the Czech Republic and with their surroundings, i.e. not only in everyday situations. We organize courses for beginners and advanced learners.


BASIC COURSE OUTLINE:
Spelling:
Teaching the Czech alphabet. Czech spelling. 

Grammar: Pronouns, nouns, adjectives, pronouns. Timing of verbs. Use of prepositions, numerals, conjunctions and adverbs. Sentence structure. 

Pronunciation: Pronunciation of letters. Diacritics. Intonation, etc. 

Conversation: Common conversational topics (introductions, family, describing your work, creating questions, ...) 

Reading + basics of written expression: Reading texts. Basics of written expression. Writing a CV and job application. 


END OF THE COURSE: 
written test and oral examination
