One of the amazing features that Digital Academy offers is the elective course system. Students can choose a full 40 % subjects based on what they enjoy, what they are talented at and what they would like to do in the future. They choose at a project exchange that takes place every September. They can sign up for subjects such as foreign languages, natural sciences, geography and ecology, fitness, economics, accounting, finance, modern history, emotional intelligence and more. From a wide range of subjects, everyone can choose what interests them. They also learn better when they enjoy it.
You can even get a computer literacy certificate here. This is a certified information technology exam that students can earn during their first years of study and counts towards graduation - they have a simplified exam for this in their final year.
"Most regular state schools do not offer this option to children because it is simply extra work for them. We are happy to invest a lot of energy and money into it to make it possible for students and help them develop professionally and personally," revealed Ing. Jan Bobek.

Na Digital Academy Kutná Hora věří, že studentům k lepšímu soustředění pomáhá také změna prostředí. Například od začátku školního roku stojí na pozemku školy velkolepá jurta s vysokými stěnami, kterou firma Nature zhotovila z materiálů odolných vůči vodě, větru i sněhu. Nic tak nebrání jejímu celoročnímu využívání za každého počasí. Výuka v jurtě je velmi oblíbená. Bylo to něco jiného, ozvláštnění výuky, které Vás nabije energií, zvýší pozornost, a ještě jste na čerstvém vzduchu.
For experience in Europe
Dalším skvělým benefitem, který Digital Academy nabízí, jsou výměnné pobyty a zahraniční stáže. Na cestách po Evropě si studenti mohou vyzkoušet v praxi vše, co se předtím učili v teoretické rovině. „Máme tu například studenta, kterého baví fotografování. Na naší škole studuje mimo jiné i podnikání. Učíme ho tedy, jak svého talentu využít podnikatelsky, obchodně,
manažersky i účetně. Tento student odjel na měsíční stáž do Německa, kde pracoval v místním fotoateliéru. Jednak tedy uplatnil to, co ho baví, tedy fotografování, a zároveň díky práci v zahraničí pronikl i do podnikání v Německu. Viděl, jak to tam funguje, a k výplatě tak získal i cenné zkušenosti,“ prozradil Ing. Jan Bobek.
Možnost stáže v zahraničí nebo výměnného pobytu mají studenti DA Kutná Hora alespoň dvakrát za studium! „Není jednoduchý proces získat podporu od EU, ale my víme, že to pro studenty má hodnotu, a tak se tomu věnujeme. Studenta to nic nestojí, všechny organizační záležitosti jdou přes nás, jídlo, ubytování a cesta jsou hrazeny z dotačních prostředků EU. A ještě si přivezou peníze za odvedenou práci,“ vysvětluje Ing. Jan Bobek.
